Dr. Adam Barkey, Psy.D is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in child and adolescent psychology and the co-founder of Curect Neuropsychology of New York.

Dr. Barkey works to assess how families and other social dynamics such as school, the environment and mental illness influence the socio-emotional adjustment, cognitive development, behavioral adaptation and health of children and teens. Dr. Barkey assesses and treats children with a wide range of biological, psychological and social problems.

Dr. Barkey received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Hartford. He completed numerous clinical externships in settings including pediatric inpatient and outpatient units, therapeutic day schools and specialty placements for treating individuals with special needs.

Dr. Kugel specializes in neuropsychological evaluation of individuals who suffer from a wide range of brain disorders, including Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease/dementia, stroke and traumatic brain injury/concussions, among other diagnoses.

Dr. Kugel received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Hartford.

Dr. James D'Alessandro, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in neurocognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments for individuals of all ages.

Dr. D’Alessandro is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in neurocognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments for individuals of all ages. He adopts a holistic perspective towards his clients and looks beyond mere numerical data in his evaluations. He has performed numerous assessments for various entities, including school districts, the Veterans’ Administration, family courts, and private practice, with a focus on neurodevelopmental, neurocognitive, and psychogenic issues, such as mood disorders and trauma and stressor-related disorders.

Dr. D’Alessandro received his doctor in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford. His training in assessment encompasses psycho-educational, forensic, and neuropsychological evaluations, gained through externships and internships at institutions like the Whiting Forensic Institute at Connecticut Valley Hospital and the Anxiety Disorder Center at the Institute of Living. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Duchess County Department of Mental Hygiene in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he gained experience in a community mental health center, a family court, and a Head Start preschool program.

Dr. Tabitha Campbell, Psy.D., is a clinical neuropsychologist with specialized training in psychological assessment, neuropsychological evaluation, individual psychotherapy, integrated behavioral health, and risk assessment.

Dr. Campbell has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various outpatient medical settings, pediatric neuropsychology, women’s health, inpatient psychiatry, and behavioral health programs.

Dr. Campbell approaches comprehensive, patient-centered, and evidence- based approach to clinical care. Her responsibilities encompass diagnostic clarification, cognitive and neuropsychological assessment, treatment planning, and individualized therapeutic intervention.

Dr. Campbell has experience utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, safety planning, and collaborative care approaches to support patients presenting with mood concerns, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, adjustment difficulties, substance use concerns, grief, medical coping concerns, neurodevelopmental conditions, and complex psychiatric presentations.

Dr. Campbell earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where she also completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical training includes an APA-accredited internship and post-doctoral fellowship with Intermountain Healthcare, as well as advanced neuropsychological training where she participated in evaluations for pediatric patients with epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, movement disorders, neurofibromatosis, tuberous sclerosis, spina bifida, stroke, prenatal substance exposure, and central nervous system infections.
